You have the option to cancel your order within one hour of placing it.

Be sure to include your order number and the reason for cancellation in your message. While we cannot guarantee cancellation after one hour, we will do our best to intercept the shipment before it leaves our warehouse.

Yes! Safe, compact and soilless, Tower Garden makes a great classroom growing system. Many schools already use Tower Gardens to engage students and bring lesson plans alive. While students witness first-hand how plants grow, they also learn the importance of sustainability, healthy eating and giving back to the community. Whether you're teaching Pre-K or high school, we’ve developed Tower Garden lesson plans and other teaching material to make learning fun! 

Aeroponics—the technology Tower Garden uses—is the process of growing plants in an air or mist environment, without the use of soil. It is the most effective and efficient way to provide plants with the necessary nutrients, hydration and oxygen. 

Tower Garden Policy on Missed Discounts

We understand that occasionally, customers may forget to apply a discount code during their purchase. To address such situations, we have implemented the following policy:

  1. Reporting a Missed Discount:

    • Customers must report a missed discount within 24 business hours of completing their purchase. Requests submitted beyond this timeframe will not be considered.

  2. Evaluation Process:

    • Tower Garden reserves the right to review and evaluate each request for a missed discount on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are at the sole discretion of Tower Garden and may be denied.

  3. Store Credit Option:

    • If approved, customers will receive store credit equal to the value of the missed discount. No cash refunds will be issued.

  4. Store Credit Expiration:

    • Store credit must be used within 90 days of the issue date. Any unused credit after this period will expire and cannot be reinstated.

To apply tax exemption to your Tower Garden purchase for a school, please provide a completed school order form and, if applicable, attach a copy of your purchase order along with a state-issued tax-exempt certificate. Once received, kindly allow approximately 72 business hours for processing. 

For new customers ordering for a tax-exempted school, please ensure you include a copy of your state issued sales tax exemption form from the Department of Revenue, as taxes cannot be removed without this documentation.

If you have placed an order online and are seeking to apply your tax-exempt status, please note that we cannot remove or credit tax for online orders. All exempt orders must be submitted via email. 

If your school or organization is in a state without sales tax, there is no need to send any tax-related forms. For existing customers with a tax exemption on file, there is no need to resend unless the exemption has an expiration date. Our team is always here to assist should you have any further questions.

To clean your tower using food-grade non-GMO citric acid, you should use 3 to 4 cups of the citric acid and then fill the reservoir with water. Submerging the pieces that need cleaning for a few hours will greatly aid in the removal of dirt and other residues.

If your sales tax exemption form is being questioned, it's crucial to understand the difference between a state tax exemption and 501 status. 

A state tax exemption certificate is issued by the state's department of revenue and exempts an organization from state-level taxes, such as sales tax. 

The 501 status, a federal designation by the IRS, applies to nonprofit organizations exempt from federal income taxes and allows donors to deduct their contributions. 

If encountering issues with tax exemption on an order, please ensure you are providing the correct state-level exemption documentation and not a form intended for federal tax exemption.

Return & Refund Policy (U.S. Customers)

Return Eligibility

Returns must be initiated within 90 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused and in their original packaging to qualify for a return.

How to Return by Mail

  1. Contact our Customer Support team at [email protected] with your order number and details about the item you wish to return.

  2. We will provide you with a shipping label.

  3. Print the label and drop off your return at a FedEx location.

Note: A shipping charge will apply per return order. If you prefer Tower Garden to arrange a pickup, an additional fee will apply per box. 

Refund Process

  • Once we receive your return, it will be inspected to ensure it meets our return criteria.

  • If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.

You can generally expect your refund within four weeks of handing your package to the return shipper. In many cases, refunds are processed sooner. This timeframe includes:

  • Transit time to receive your return (5–10 business days),

  • Inspection and processing time (3–5 business days),

  • Bank processing time (5–10 business days).

Important: Refunds are contingent upon the successful inspection and approval of the returned item(s).

Please be sure to pack your return securely to prevent damage during shipping.

Non-Returnable Items

Some items may be non-returnable due to final sale or other restrictions. These will be clearly indicated in the return policy at the time of purchase.

If a customer mistakenly orders the wrong items and wishes to return them, they will be responsible for covering the return shipping costs. Please contact our Customer Care team either via email [email protected] or phone (866) 235-0414 for further instructions on how to proceed with your return.

Customers have 10 days from delivery date to report damaged or missing items.

Any modification by the end user voids the warranty.

In accordance with our shipping guidelines, pH adjusters are non-returnable due to their classification as corrosive liquids.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship only and is not an insurance policy. It does not cover:

  • Improper installation

  • Accidental damage

  • Misuse or abuse

  • Improper wiring

  • Operation of the unit outside the listed specifications

  • Any product that has been modified

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner of the Tower Garden products.

If a claim is approved under warranty, Tower Garden reserves the sole discretion to either replace the item, issue a refund, or provide store credit.

Growing your own clean, healthy food is certainly rewarding, but Tower Garden also offers a plethora of additional benefits you can feel good about, like reducing food miles, contributing to sustainability efforts, being an educational resource and reducing grocery bills. You have the option to add up to three extension kits to a Tower Garden Flex, which translates to a total of 11 sections/grow pots. 

For Tower Garden Home with lights, we suggest a maximum of one extension kit. Please remember that Towers with more than one extension kit will require a high-capacity pump. 

Here's a pro tip: 

When incorporating baby green sections, place them at the top for optimal growth.

Adjust and alternate the LED lights to disperse the light evenly throughout the sections. 



Tower Garden is a game-changer! 

Here are some of the environmentally friendly features of Tower Garden: 


  1. Reduced Water Usage: Aeroponic systems use up to 98% less water than traditional soil-based gardening. This reduction in water usage means less energy is required for water treatment and distribution, leading to lower carbon emissions associated with water management.
  2. Efficient Nutrient Use: In aeroponic systems, plants receive nutrients directly through a mist, which is more efficient than soil-based methods. This reduces the need for chemical fertilizers and minimizes nutrient runoff, which can contribute to greenhouse gas emissions.
  3. Minimal Land Use: Tower Gardens are vertical systems that require much less space than traditional farming. By growing more plants per square foot, these systems help preserve natural landscapes and reduce deforestation and habitat destruction, which are major sources of carbon emissions.
  4. Localized Food Production: Aeroponic gardening can be set up close to where food is consumed, such as in urban areas or even indoors. This proximity reduces the need for long-distance transportation, which significantly cuts down on fuel use and associated carbon emissions.
  5. Lower Energy Consumption: While traditional farming relies on heavy machinery for planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops, aeroponic systems are often more automated and energy-efficient. The energy used in aeroponic systems is generally less intensive, particularly when powered by renewable energy sources.
  6. Less Pesticide Use: Aeroponic systems, including Tower Gardens, often have fewer pest problems, which means less reliance on chemical pesticides. This reduces the carbon emissions associated with the transportation and storage of imported goods.


Generally speaking if it's safe to drink, it's safe to use in the Tower. 


We recommend staying away from soften water or particularly hard water, as this may result in access build up or may have a negative impact the Ph balance .


Pro tip: 

  • For hard water, fill your Tower Garden using an RV water filter. If you're not sure whether you have hard water, check with your water provider.
  • For softened water (i.e., water from a home softener system), fill your Tower Garden using a reverse osmosis filter system.
  • For chlorinated water, which can be characteristic of tap water, leave the water out in the sun for 48 hours.

Tower Garden grows plants up to three times faster than conventional gardening methods. And many vegetables can be harvest-ready in as little as three weeks after transplanting.


Ultimately, time-to-harvest depends on a number of factors—such as climate, plant type, light exposure and more. But most seed packets offer a reliable estimate of how soon plants will be ready.

Because soil is a prerequisite for organic growing, and aeroponic systems don’t use soil, Tower Garden can’t be classified as organic. But it can be equally as safe and healthy—and more efficient.


Organic gardening requires organisms in the soil to convert “organic” material into minerals plants can use. But instead of growing plants in soil, Tower Garden uses water, oxygen and pure, natural minerals to deliver nutrients directly to plant roots.


The result is higher growth rates and greater yields than resource-intensive organic methods can achieve. And remember, since you’re growing the plants, you control the use of herbicides and pesticides.


So you could say Tower Garden is better than organic, because you get the same results (and more)—without the dirt.

For Tower Garden HOME, the reservoir (at the base of Tower Garden) holds 13 gallons of water and is 24" x 24" (2 sq. ft.). It stands 58" tall and holds up to 32 plants (16 full-size plants + 16 baby greens/herbs). 

For the Tower Garden FLEX, the reservoir holds 20 gallons of water and is 30" x 30" (3 sq. ft.). It stands 55" tall and holds up to 20 plants. Extension kits are available for the FLEX unit providing growing ports.

Tower Garden is made from UV-stabilized, BPA-free, food-grade plastic. The high-quality plastic resins we use are compliant with both U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidelines for food contact and European guidelines for Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances.

The net pots that come with Tower Gardens measure 2 inches in length, 2 inches in width at the top, and narrow down to 1.5 inches at the bottom. Designed to perfectly fit Tower Gardens, they feature a 'lip' only around half of the top edge, ensuring proper fit and function within the system.

Yes, the LED light kit is designed to work seamlessly with the Flex unit system, providing proper lighting for your plants.

A Proposition 65 warning does not indicate that a product is less safe or pure. Our Tower Garden products, including the mineral blend, adhere to strict food-grade standards and are safe for consumption. The presence of minerals like magnesium or calcium may trigger a Proposition 65 warning, but this alone does not make them unsuitable for use.

Please note: We are unable to process claims submitted after this 10-day window, as FedEx requires this time frame to handle shipping-related issues.

We will review the provided documentation and, if necessary, arrange for a replacement or issue a refund.

Order Modification and Address Changes

You have 1 hour after placing your order to make any modifications, including changes to the shipping address or cancellation of your order. 

After that time, Tower Garden cannot modify or update the address on your order.

Once an order has shipped, we are unable to change or redirect it. However, you still have options by working directly with FedEx:

  • FedEx Delivery Manager:
    Sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager to request delivery changes such as:

    • Updating the delivery address

    • Rerouting the package

    • Scheduling a new delivery time

  • Call FedEx Customer Service:

  • Request Hold at Location:
